For the past year and a half, Sònia has been part of the Movitec team, performing tasks related to supply chain procurement, supplier incident management, and ERP database maintenance. As a final-year psychology student, this experience has not only been a job opportunity, but also a setting for personal and professional growth.
One of the most valued aspects of working at Movitec is its strong focus on problem-solving. When faced with any challenge, the team’s proactive attitude not only allows them to find practical, effective and quick solutions, but also creates an atmosphere of trust that greatly facilitates daily dynamics. This responsiveness does not come about by chance, but from a culture that values commitment, adaptability and, above all, attitude.
Like any growing organisation, there is also room for improvement. Enhancing assertiveness, promoting more effective mediation in meetings and strengthening relationships between departments and hierarchical levels can make a significant difference to the working environment.
Movitec has taught her that true learning goes beyond the technical. Here, Sònia has learned to grow from challenges, not to give up when things get complicated, and to find resources even where she previously only saw limitations. In short, it is an environment where every day brings experience, but also perseverance, a resolute outlook, and attitude.
Looking to the future, her goal is to continue learning and training to become a great professional. And for Movitec, she envisions an exciting horizon: reaching 1,000 machines and consolidating the exponential growth that is already underway.
As a quote that deeply inspires her says: ‘Where some see an obstacle, others see an opportunity to innovate. The difference is not in the problem, but in the attitude.’ This mantra is not just a nice phrase; at Movitec, it is lived every day. When a supplier fails to make a critical delivery, there is no room for paralysis: it is analysed, contacted, restructured. When the ERP system shows inconsistencies, the root cause is sought, corrected and prevented. Even in interpersonal relationships, when tensions arise between departments, there are those who opt for constructive dialogue instead of conflict. Thus, what could be an obstacle is transformed into momentum.
Because here, attitude is not optional: it is part of our DNA.
