With the goal of reducing downtime and increasing the productivity of the factory operator assigned to the wrapper, our clients can equip their high-production Movitec machines with the ARC System (Automatic Reel Change).
The ARC is designed to minimize downtime during reel changes. Its design guarantees maximum efficiency, high autonomy (up to 4 reels per head), very short changeover times, and high reliability—exceeding that of our competitors.
This system allows reels to be replaced safely without stopping the machine: it is located inside the safety fence but outside the wrapping zone, thereby preventing interruptions in the wrapping cycle.
It consists of a standard storage for three full reels plus one in use, meaning it can operate autonomously for up to an entire shift (depending on production). This time can be used by the operator for other tasks, increasing overall efficiency.
Its usefulness is even greater when a reel runs out or the film breaks while the wrapping machine is operating, providing continuous production, independent of the operator’s availability, and fully automatic. It is available for both the Saturn S6 model (one head) and the Saturn S8 (two heads), the two Saturn machines designed for high-production environments.
